Abstract : with the rapid development of industry and transportation ， the pollution of lead ， a widely used heavy metal element being very harmful to human ， has extended from occupational environment to daily environment ， and is being paid more and more attention to . in view of the severity of enviromemtal lead pollution ， harm of chronic lead poisoning to children ' s growth and intelligence development ， and the defects of the agents to remove lead available now ， this paper emphasizes the significance and importance to explore high effective ， no side - effect antidote to chronic lead poisoning ， points that using natural materials to prevent and treat chronic lead poisoning is a significant direction to explore ， and reviews the studies in the area 文摘:本文从铅污染的生活环境化、低浓度环境铅污染对儿童发育和智力的阻碍、传统驱铅剂存在的问题论述了探索高效、安全、无毒副作用驱铅剂对防治环境铅污染慢性中毒的重要性，介绍了国内外利用天然产物防治铅中毒的研究概况及进展，指出利用天然产物防治铅中毒是一项很有意义的探索方向。
